K’in is part of the evolving masterplan of Tulum on Mexico’s Caribbean coastline, reecting all of its vibrancy with a new
development of eight family homes that allows inhabitants to immerse themselves inTulum’s jungle door.
A commitment to sustainability is at the heart of the project, setting a new standard for environmentally-conscious design in Riviera Maya. Any trees removed during the works will be replaced, while native fauna and or a is enabled to thrive in lush, tropical gardens. Local materials have been used where possible, utilising waste from other developments in the area. At K’in, the boundaries between inside and out have been reworked. Living areas are an extension of verdant landscaped gardens, oodlit with natural light. Double-height rooms create opportunities to frame dramatic jungle views, as well as oering open spaces that encourage a natural breeze. Crystal-clear private pools are reminiscent of the iconic cenotes for which the area is well known. For something truly spectacular, head to one of K’in’s rooftop palapas, which offer panoramic views of the forest canopy and an intimate look at tropical wildlife. This open-air roof structure provides everything you need for dining among the trees with a fully-equipped kitchen, lounge and seating area: true jungle living.
